We are so pleased you have chosen our program for your summer childcare needs.
Please take a moment to review our Summer Care 2021 Handbook and our updated COVID19 Action Plan.
Summer at ISP is a great time for students to continue language-learning fun with a familiar schedule, small groups of friends, and plenty of play activities! This year we offer weekly themes with lots of water play and Spanish. We offer weekly enrollment for Pre-care, Half Day, Full Day & After-care programs!
Please take a moment to look for school wide information found outside the preschool office. Weekly lesson plans, schedules, and important class information is posted on the window of your child’s classroom.
All children are asked to arrive at school wearing their mask. We will continue to strongly encourage and support children to wear their mask each day. All enrolled children will undergo a brief health check to include temp check and hand sanitizing before entering the front gates. We ask the adult sanitize hands as well. If staff is not at the check in table, we ask you to wait. We will be with you shortly!
Families will provide their own lunch and snacks. Please include a cold pack to keep your child’s lunch fresh. We are a nut-free campus. We will have morning snack at 10, lunch at noon, and afternoon snack at 3:30.
We always do our best to safely enjoy the Arizona summer. Please remember to apply sunblock to your child before school, send a hat, and a labeled water bottle with a covered cap every day. We ask your written permission to apply sunscreen to your child at times during the day. We will have fun with “Water Day” every Friday. Teachers will be sending more information about this fun filled weekly event.
If you are new to our program, please complete and return forms under the “New Student Registration Forms” section. If you are a returning family, complete and return form under the “Returning Student Registration Forms” by May 14th. Please stop by the preschool office to make any needed updates to your child’s file.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask the office staff!
Looking forward to having fun in our summer days ahead!

Khylia moved to Tucson 18 years ago to attend the University of Arizona, fell in love, and never left! She earned her Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing, and her Post-Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education. After teaching high school on the Pascua Yaqui Reservation for four years, she had her first child and chose to stay at home to raise her. While doing so, she occasionally taught as a substitute for TUSD and discovered a love for the eagerness and sincerity of younger students. She is proud to say that her youngest child is an International School for Peace graduate! When not spending time with her family, Khylia enjoys dancing, cooking, and book clubbing!
